Overview
Aegis ID is a digital identity initiative focused on helping organizations issue and manage trusted digital credentials.
The platform has been designed around a secure onboarding process that can collect identity information, support document and selfie submission, generate digital credential invitations, and allow users to receive credentials through a branded mobile wallet.
The initiative combines identity architecture, cloud infrastructure, mobile wallet development, credential issuance, administrative systems, and enterprise onboarding workflows.

01The Challenge
Organizations increasingly need to prove who they are dealing with, but the tools available to them tend to sit at two extremes: rigid enterprise identity suites that assume a specific stack, or lightweight verification services that stop at a one-time check and issue nothing durable.
A credential is only useful if the whole chain holds — collection, verification, issuance, delivery, storage, and later presentation. Each link introduces its own security, privacy, and usability requirements, and a weakness anywhere undermines the rest.
02The Approach
The architecture treats onboarding and issuance as one continuous flow rather than separate products. Identity information, document capture, and selfie submission feed a review step, which in turn generates a credential invitation delivered to the end user.
Administrative capability was designed alongside the user-facing flow. Operators need to invite users, track onboarding state, and manage issuance without touching infrastructure directly.
Delivery targets a branded mobile wallet, with QR-based hand-off between the issuance service and the wallet, and an API layer designed so verification and future face-matching can be added without reworking the issuance path.
